Good way to solve it Mikey. I have had to turn things into loose oil paintings before because the photography sucked. Wink

besides all the issues with printing vs resolution, halos and what not i was just bored and played with this pic a bit...
with the bigger version the main problem is grain and noise and stuff:



while the smaller version looks already better (but still not good enough for print i guess):



so, nothing new... its still hopeless, but i had fun anyway Smile

Maybe you have to look at the WHOLE picture to realize; there has never been any focusing error here!

Here is one I tried to clean up and sharpen. It's just a lot of stamp tool, dodging/burning and painting.
