Just curious what everyone's preferred desktop arrangement is when using PS. Seems by the time you get the panels and tool selection bar up, there's not much room for the work.
I ended up with two monitors hooked to my vid card so I can keep one entire monitor for the workspace and put the panels on the other one. AND have other windows open at the same time. ie browser or email or whatever.... like this...

It gives me a desktop 2048 x 768.

I guess lots of graphic pros use Macs. No experience there. Can you drive multiple monitors with a Mac? Anyone else doing it like this?
Re tool selection bar, I just got use to having it on the left. Bad habit maybe. Otherwise I could have the whole left monitor for work area. Hmmmmm..... could even work in full screen mode....

I used two montiors, pretty much similar to what you do. I had to unhook one for my "houseguest" to use while he was here though. I guess I can hook it back up again.

I use a program called photoshop interface assistant. It makes the panels disappear kinda of like the start menu can do on your pc. Then when you need them just move your pointer to the side of your screen and the reappear.
