Photoshop Contest Forum Index - Fun and Games - STRENGTH / COURAGE Tattoo - Reply to topic

Post Wed Sep 06, 2006 11:00 am   Reply with quote

I am working on a tattoo design for a friend of mine. He wanted a cross with the words Strength (Vertical) and Courage (Horizontal). He was thinking about putting a design around the words, but I wanted to try something different.

Tell me what you think?
1.) Is it legible?
2.) do you like the design?
3.) any suggestions?

The word "Courage" is an ambigram. (Looks the same upside down)

I submitted this one to an ambigram website just for fun... You can see it spin Smile

I would take into consideration where this tat's going? Like if it's on the dude's bicep, it might wrap around and be hard to read.

Great design though!

PS. If 'readability' is a concern, don't let it be..
That's great just the way it is...
BUT! Lighting , highlights would be cool.
Any goood tat artist can handle shadin' no prob.
