Hehehe, Marx-man!!!
You know everything about Photoshop.
Fine boast!.... I hope you are as good as your word because there are people here that won't let you forget what you said.
I’ve always found that it’s the ones with the big heads that say a lot, can’t do a lot!
Good luck man.

I didnt say about i said in,

"i know about everything in photoshop and imageready so i can help ppl out."

This does not extend to techniques that i havent mentioned.
Layout, typography, lighting (which is time consuming)
basically that big list.

I can chop yes.

To a fairly good degree... if i had time to spare and so on

but recently i have had little time so anything i do make will be less than what it should. but i am getting through my other projects pretty quikly.

So ya will have to wait a lil bit... dont let the suspence kill ya too much.

I've been here before, foolish introductions, alienating vast quanities of members instantly..... I was instructed way back when to throw my logoin in the bin and start again. But I didn't, I think this is genuinely a case of not instantly knowing how everyone works here at PSC. Maybe Marx has been in other formums were a different way of talking or expressing yourself is fine.

I for one am going to wait until he gets out of his feeder stage 10 entries, then we can all judge.

He did initially say he was here if anyone wanted help....sure alot of other things were said to, but I don't think we should all just slam a new guy becuase he makes a brash introduction.

Luckily Marx seems to be strong of character and this isn't effecting him. We keep talking about getting new members an expanding the site etc, this is going to scare any newbie off if they read it.

My 8,739 dollars 51 cents worth Very Happy Wink

you think this is the right way to indroduce someone to PSC Arc?

I mean he made an obvious error, I am unsure it requires 8 pages of everyone telling him...

yes, well 8 pages later, and the dude is still making excuses and hyping himself up with nothing to show for it.

good sport or simply annoying? I'd pick the latter.

If you look back to the beginning of the thread, people were more than welcoming considering his somewhat arrogant introduction... it wasn't until the guy went listing his photoshop skills as if he were copying the table of contents of a photoshop book, and stating that anything more he could learn would be really obscure, and that as far as he's concerned he knows enough already that people began giving him a hard time (and rightfully so).

well I don't know the guy, and bragging, or just being a bit naive, either way I will make my mind up much later. I can see why people have jumped on him, I also agree that knowing everything photoshop has to offer is just not going to happen....ever, as its almost limitless, you can always find a way of doing what you need. Everyone here is always learning.

Back to the point though, I just feel we should all stop, including Marx, and lets see what he has got over a period of a few months Smile

Marco, I can see why you have some empathy for this Marx dude. But, seriously - he is still wacking us with the BS stick even after 8 pages of (some nice, some not so nice) warnings that Swelled Heads don't make friends here at PSC. AND his contest work does truly SUCK canal water (so far).

Personally - I hope you shut up for a while, MarxMan. At this point anything you say (and, it seems, chop) will be used against you in a battle to minimize the swelling of that which is between your ears. Razz

Why does that remind me of a haiku? I mean I KNOW it's not following a haiku form but it sure as hell reminds me of a haiku. Maybe a poem (hence the reformatting).

{snaps fingers in beatnik way} Cool
