I don't get it Tofu... the water scene on the Incredibles is equally amazing, 100% CG, and it's been done years ago... this one is not THAT impressive, taking in count it's been done before...

Here's a link to a quicktime that also shows their fire and particle effects.
Dunno why they show the prehistoric sea creature hsaking water off. It's crap (relatively speaking)

I'd disagree. These clips show much more movement and types of movement (around barriers, etc.). The Incredibles (one of my all-time favorite movies that I've seen probably 20 times as I own the DVD) was specifically done to look cartoonish. The water was good yes but it wasn't totally realistic in movement. Much of that was due to intent and technology.

I saw this when i was doing 3D modelling at uni. I remember getting pissed off everytime i watched movies like this because my 3D work was nowhere near them Crying or Very sad .

Considering i finished university in the summer of 2004 I'm sure this was done before The Incredibles
