My 10 cents..

Why do you chop here Z ?

1.Is it for votes and prizes?? OR

2.YOU enjoy Chopping and want to share what you did?

If #1... cave in and post what the voters want Sad

If its #2 then post what YOU see in the picture and enjoy the process and the sharing with those of us that appreciate your work Cool

OK I am done ..(for now) Shocked

Personally I don't see why abstracts don't get many votes here! I liked your image ver much Z, although with the 25 vote limitation, I had already used all my votes when I got to your chop (sorry). In response to what Mikey said,it's very true that no matter how long you spend on a chop or how good YOU think it is it's up to the voters to decide. For example take this image which I got 2nd place for http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/104904/votes.html I didn't spend as much time chopping it as I have on others that I thought were much better! Go figure! Just keep choppin dude cuz you're a very talented chopper! My 2 cents worth Very Happy

I agree w/Eve ....Micose rules the abstract world here.
look at his portfolio and you cant scroll three lines without seeing a post that atleast placed!!!
so "abstact" is recognised and appreciated (voted for)here.
I think you had an awsome post Z...sorry I didnt even see it when it was open.
keep on the abstract thing....i really liked it!

sassy, as I'm sure you probably figured, maybe not, but I do the #2 on your list

I was just looking for some contructive critisum on my chop, and so was just seeing why i hadn't recieved as many votes as i thought it was going to. And now with all of this critisum i can now see why, from many different perspectives. Also i want to thank all of you for the info. I will still do abstract as i see fit, and i will continue to chop what i see in the photos! Smile one quick note: I know I'm new, as well new to photoshop, i just started playing with it one day after class, and it had evolved to this. (just a reference of time approx. August of this year)
THANK YOU TO ALL!

Crying or Very sad To add insult to injury, no-one even tried to find the 15 obvious changes I made to this, can you find them? Rolling Eyes

I don't even want to talk about my green with envy chop for this contest, Laughing it went over like a turd filled balloon

Yeah! I think the same thing... but I will add sthg! Surprised
I brought once a theory, and I think it works!
Nothing about chopping but just another perspective.
It surely can bring you some more votes. Look at this:

Why is it that people always think that spending 100 hrs on a chop defines a good chop ... why ?

Yah... I've worked my butt off and bombed. On the other hand this one was very simple but won...

http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/98918/damn-kids.html

You just never know! I've been busy lately and not chopping. When I look at all the fantastic stuff coming through these days, I feel so uninspired!
