Last week, a spammer started a thread pointing to the saddam hussein execution video.

You, fahim, left the following comment on this thread:

"Saddam Hussein was a brave hero, R.I.P."

This was promptly deleted by a mod.

I can not support someone like you who supports the genocide of innocent children.

ok I want to say something, my opinion is Saddam was an evil man who cared not for anything apart from what he himself held dear.

However I am not about to go mental when somebody has the opposite opinion, the reason being is a dictatorship is adouble edge sword, and the ammount of time Saddam was in rule many were brought up with his philosophies. It is a hard subject, but one I cannot understand fully and will not over-rule on anothers opinion.

I do not agree with hanging, but many from UK do not, hence why we abolished capital punishment over 40 years ago. My personal feelings on his hanging were the choice of the court is right and must be upheld, yet politically and socially hanging him may turn out to be a extremerly bad decision for both innocent iraqi's and our troops.

So basically I understand both views, but Fahim's opinion is but one in a very complex whole

Way to go Fahim Very Happy
and Paleez, who cares who or what you support, you have never posted a chop here, so go find some other place to talk your crap, also, I bet you're an alias with no guts, and I have a pretty good idea who, I also bet you don't mind when innocent women and children get killed by your leaders, do you? For the record, I did not support Saddam, and I don't support Bush, but let me ask, who has killed more innocent people?

I don't see why we shouldn't go there Sean, it is not a opic that should be taboo, My leader as it were, Tony Blair has many questions to answer about tactics an reasons for military and defence proceedures...

anyway, great thread.

I'm off for dinner, back later Very Happy

Guarantee you it's not who you think...

I'm sure it's an alias but, Google bots being as thorough as they are, It could be a complete outsider that linked in by chance and made it a pet project.

well if I must, I think genocide is a lot worse than trying to overthrow a evil dictator (that we put into place) but I digress. Life is life, and no one other than the Lord Almighty should ever take it away.

I hate talking politics though. Everyone has their own opinion, who am I to judge?

yes, i understand this thread is for people who support you.

I just wanted to let people know who YOU support and that way they can make up their own minds.

I don't support Bush either, but let's not equate Bush with Hussein.
Hussein gassed thousands of innocent children in the streets in order to iradicate the Kurdish race.
He also had rape rooms in every palace he owned.

If fahim said on a thread, "I enjoy child pornography", would you vote for him?

Burning children with mustard gas is even more offensive to me, and I hope it is to you as well.
