Thank God for that!!!! I was really worried about them taking so long to remove it after it had burst. Things will get better quickly now, thanks Katrina for taking the time to let us know. Get well soon ReyRey.

Hi Rey,
Good to hear that your surgery went well..Based on my experience, your recovery will be quick and complete.
Probably between 10-15 days to feel fairly normal again.
The good news is that you can never have another appendicitis.
As far as I know, they don't grow back.  !

to you! It's a special kind of stress that we loved ones shoulder when our significant others / spouses have major medical episodes! (Trust me; I know!) We are ALL so very relieved that ReyRey finally had the more traditional treatment of having his appendix out
