Good illustration of 'single-point' perspective, but actually in real life the verticals have a vanishing point too. They'll appear vertical and parallel when you're at a safe distance, but as you get up close, you'll notice the vertical VP more. Like when you look up at tall buildings. VP can be applied to any parallel lines, in any orientation.
Also when you look down on something, the verticals converge.
