In the past it's been a post "the source for this round will be x-day" and x-day would be Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday. This gave the participants time to work on their ideas and bounce their chops off their partner for feedback on improving them before the comp opened. Good times!

If you're not advantage then a link to the source is usually posted in the thread. It's like mini-advantage for you for those comps (except you're still limited on your upload size etc.).

Yes, the first week's source will be revealed on Sunday, Sept. 6 for those who have most choppin' time on their weekends. Showcase was a stickler for revealing the source on Monday...but I understand how getting it early will help the overall quality in this challenge.

No, it won't be the speedchop...that would be a little too evil even for me.....
