If this place was about chopping the way you chop TJ, I'd still be chopping Very Happy

I really love the photo realism chops, of which, you are a master.

Have been enjoying lurking your chops though Very Happy

Screw getting the Canuck's permission! Post that PSD immediately! Laughing Laughing

You mean you can make the image you sent me better? Surprised Surprised ....... Damn!!

Will you please post it here in this thread? I'm very excited to see what you come up with.
Hope I didn't put you on the spot with me post, but I felt it needed to be done. You are one of the best still here.

Thank you Claf and all PSC folks here for you awesome support!

Todd

Todd, I think it is a good idea to shear it here.

The 1st test I made was made very fast... so I just came back on it 30 minutes to make it a little bit better.

1. first thing, I found the right perspective-angle on top of bottles from the original source...
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b112/Clafrance/saltandpepper3-1.jpg

2. You can see here that the perspective wasn't right...
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b112/Clafrance/saltandpepper3-2.jpg

3. You can drop the 2 next images - 2 new layers - on top of the final work to compare... 1st test and 2nd test...
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b112/Clafrance/saltandpepper3-3.jpg
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b112/Clafrance/saltandpepper3-4.jpg

Adjustments on perspective, light, transparency. The 2 glass bottles are lightly tinted, so inside the bottle (on top) need to be slightly brighter because of just 1 glass thickness in that part. Also the flash from camera made the bottles brighter than the background... so the new details on top of bottle needed more contrast & brightness.

I can maybe come back tomorrow with some comments...

Oh! I forgot something... Surprised
There was dark zones (kind of shadows from lids) to hide... needed brighter zones there & some highlights...

So... 3rd test...

Maybe there's something else I didn't see. Feel free to add details or telling me what else is wrong...
