I know there are some Flash Guru's out there, you've helped me before.

I'm trying to make a flash banner for a company and code it so when you click on it, it takes you to a website. 1, made the banner, animations done, 2 new layer, made it a button, 3 action script

onRelease {
getURL("http://mywebsite.com");

}

Keep getting all kinds of errors. Tried AC2 and AC3, same thing. Frustrated. I know I'm missing something simple just can't figure it out.

Get "syntax error onRelease { "

Don't you get in any way the idea i had the least bit of clue about flash.... BUT i do know how to talk to that google thing.

Their results look both similar - and slightly different from yours.
Might hold the answer to your question...

DUH...I figured it out...lol Have to make sure the "Button" is selected when applying AS!
