How in CS3?

Trying to create a website layout with guides for rule-of-thirds, gutters, etc. Would be really nice to color code them.

I double-click on a guide and changing the color changes the color for all of them. But I see "smart guides" setting and having figured out how to set a smart guide (or what one is).

You could use the single pixel vertical and horizontal marque tool then stroke the line in any color/thickness you wish. Would that solve your problem?

Smart guides are an interactive feature. Turn them on (View - Show - Smart Guides) and drag a few layers around to see the effect - it will automatically show when layers are lined up (top, middle, bottom, left, right)

Anyone know if there's a quick way to clear all of the guides in your doc?

ctl H hides them.

Not talking about hiding them...
I want them to be gone, so I can set new ones.
