I don't see what all the fuss is about. This change is just part of the natural progression here.
It really takes a page from the Special Olympics book of competition.
Fifth place, which once felt like slap in the face, now feels like a warm, reassuring hug.
If I can just make one suggestion;
Instead of writing "second place", "third place" etc., it would be more positive to write "second place winner", "third place winner" and so on.

Ok.... I have to say.... I can see the point in the 4th & 5th place thing HOWEVER.... I also think that if people were having issues with it not being on their profiles why didn't anyone say?
I personally don't care about this being implemented but I'd have preferred it to have been in the way Anfa suggested. When we're seeing certain names with 4th & 5th places in triple digits then how is that helping a newbie?
Yes, that's right, I do completely disagree with Mark on this & I do prefer Anfas suggestion.
I'm all for putting forward suggestions but sometimes they're completely unnecessary & better things should be on certain peoples minds than how to fix something that isn't broken!!

I don't think the 4th and 5th thing had anything to do with helping noobs. I just think that Marco wanted more gongs in his profile. Sad really.

cause it says i have 6 4th places and but only 3 show up in my portfolio
whatever no biggie, just puttin in out there
