What brand name of paint are you shooting and with what gun? Sometimes I use CREATEX with a Badger 150 and always use water and use their airbrush cleaner. Works fine for me..

Hi Mike! Smile

I worked with airbrushes for 15 years, from 1985 to 2000.
I had Badger, Iwata & Holbein Richpen airbrushes. All good.
My favorite was the Richpen. The gravity feed cup makes the airbrush cleaner and easier to clean.

But about acrylics, I thought most of the brands sucked.
I really didn't like Createx (too thick), Badger's colors were not bad, but the only one I liked was
Holbein Aeroflash acrylics. They have opaque and transparent colors. You just need to add a little bit
of water to it. Thinners just for cleaning airbrushes.
