Last combat veteran of World War One has died.

Claude Choules, who joined the navy in the UK at the age of 14 during WWI, and who was responsable for the defense of an important harbor in Australia during WWII, retired after 40 years of active duty. Lived to be 110 years old, and has died on May 4th. R.I.P.

His work made him a pacifist.

Claude is survived as WWI Veteran by Florence Green (110 UK) and Jozef Kowalski (111 Poland).

So sad today I just found out about Splodge! He used to help me out alot...after making me feel stupid.... and lazy!
Although I havent been around in a long time...I am just feeling the loss now.
So sad
