what a great idea, wish I could have done this with my daughter´s drawings when she was a little girl. She is now 18 and taking fine arts at the University of Granada and doing some impressive work. But I just may take out some of her early drawings and surprise her Very Happy

thanks Vic,I did the oils and airbrush back in the 1980s when I lived in Toronto. No lessons just dove in and gave it a shot.I had a nice studio set up there and more time to dedicate to painting.I even sold a few at some local art fairs there. When I moved to Spain in 1990 I thought I would keep it up.I bought an easel, paints ,brushes and a few canvases but soon realized the bar I opened up consumed all my time and I totally abandoned it.Now I have a second hand store and more time on my hands as you can tell by all the PS work but no place to set up a little studio in yet,but I´m looking. Can´t do it in our apt. cause of the fumes of the solvents. They really smell the place up.Like you I plan to go back to it again.I still have all the stuff I bough years ago and have had it in mind for a while for when I can get some space together.I have some chops I´ve done that would make cool paintings,so one day, possibly when I retire Laughing .My daughter hasn´t tried that medium yet but I´m sure she´ll be just as good at that as she is with her drawing. She will be learning oil painting at the U. of Gr. in the coming years,so she can pass on what she learns to me.IMO it´s the best medium but not an easy one to master.Anyhow seeing the talent you have with PS you should have no problem doing likewise with oils...

thanks Geir, well I didn´t live of my art that´s for sure or was it my intention,I did it for self enjoyment but I have sold a few works in the past.I think the most I got was like $ 200 for a painting that probably took a couple of days to do.I used to exhibit somewhat at art fairs and some collective art shows in Toronto back in the 1980s
