I still don't know why we couldn't have sent out the e-mail now, and done the contest a month later. Its not like this was a H2H where it continues on. It was a one day deal. I digress.

The H2H is coming up. We needed to get the reunion comp done in time for the H2H to begin.

Ideally you'll get the sign-up posted for the H2H before the close of the Reunion Contest, to catch people before they fade back into their regular lives again.

I think a month between notification and Reunion was too much lead time last year. If a week is too short, maybe two weeks' notice next year would be worth a try? Smile

Possibly. Another possibility is sending an email notification about the H2H. Now that we have an alternative for sending mass mails, it shouldn't be difficult.

Last year, if I remember correctly, there were multiple emails sent out. I think starting the notification process a month in advance is a good way to go about it. The first email would include the source. Then maybe an email 2 weeks prior, then one week prior, and finally one three days before.

This would give people adequate time to check their email and put aside time to work on the chop.

I set my email up so that I receive a text message and a regular email when I get an email from PSC because I'm a nerd. Smile

The text is usually instant, and followed by the actual email a minute or two later.
