I've spent 45 minutes watching tuts on this feature...and I'm not getting it.

see the left-hand side wall?

I understand how to make the grid and paste the new wallpaper in...from there I'm lost. Confused

Hold down ALT, then the Cancel-button turns into a Reset-button.

Eve,

I just picked (within the VP dialogue window) the SELECT Pointer Tool (top most tool in toolbar) and then clicked on the grid. Once the 6 little white grab-handles showed I simply hit DELETE and the grid went away. (I could also hit CMND+Z / CNTRL+Z to bring it back).

Hope this helps.

(I have a great and simple video of this tool on DVD but it is too big to post and link too... Sad )

You're right...it changes it to reset. But I want to start all over again. So holding alt and cancel still won't make the original grid go away.
Also, I'm guessing a RED grid isn't a good thing, right?

Red grid means that you are attempting a grid shape that doesn't support a LOGICAL perspective. Usually this happens when you try to drag out a SECOND grid plane.

Well, first you soak it for about 2 hours in warm water. Then you get a metal scraper. Then you start cursing and swearing and saying "F*ck F*ck F*ck" over and over. Eventually you'll get tired and go to bed. In the morning, you start over. Continue until boyfriend/girlfriend/husband takes pity on your sad state of affairs and does the actual job themselves.

Hope that helps! Wink

P.S. that beer I'm drinking is CHOCOLATE PORTER. NOW DON'T YOU WISH YOU WERE MY GIRLFRIEND!? Laughing
