Thanks everyone! I'm downloading the DNG converter as I type. Plus I was able to open one of the files I downloaded from the site I listed.

Ironically after all of this I wasn't able to show him the RAW files as I was given 23 images to color correct and repair dust spots on. That took me the last two hours.

(I'ma see if I can get permission to use some as daily sources and upload them before my Advantage runs out on the 30th).

I went there and ended up finding...

not sure if this is gonna be read by anyone...
anyways, i was playing with our cam (and PS) in RAW mode a little. That kind of stuff is really amazing. I took some shots and finally compared one converted to JPEG automatically by the camera engine with one that i extracted from the RAW data myself. I can see some difference. I'll have to examine that further....
