Just pretend you're an Australian plumber, agree a time, then get on with the 20 other jobs you're late on! (Nothing ruffles these guys; especially when they know the client is in an even shittier mess than they are!)

Don't be hassled... give them a quality job in whatever time it takes, and load the fee by 30% for getting it done so fast.

Remember the old saying:- "Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten!"

But some clients always remember those bad jobs, and forget their impossible deadlines when it comes to payment, which is usually late. Don't get suckered into a fast nasty, it'll come back to haunt you one day.
