the BBC have had 545 complaints direct to them and are considering through their interactive service having an audio option with the horn noise removed Laughing

I've employed the graphic equaliser in my audio card sound control panel to accentuate the commentators and therefore reduce the bastard vuvu's. Works but can still only hear them and no crowd chants and vocal emotion. SUCKS. Really spoiling it.

I am not too bothered really, it is atmosphere, and you can hear the crowd, especialy the English Very Happy no amount of horns can drown our hardcore supporters and the band out Smile

I can imagine it is really annoying for the players the first time, but they get used to it Smile
The TV stations are kinda muting the buzzing sounds over here though (at least they try)
