The images will be capable of being entirely anonymous even if the contests are not... (still un-decided).<br><br>I am leaning towards not pushing these existing message board threads to the new site. There is a lot of good content in them, but 75% of it is stale and/or a bit off topic.

I agree - there IS a lot of content on the threads that COULD be useful, even among the strictly off-topic stuff.<br><br>For example, the threads where PSCers describe how we found the site, what got us interested in art, favourite books/films etc, etc. They help us to get to know each other better.<br><br>Likewise some of the humorous threads (like the "Humour Olympics" one or the "Once Upon A Time" thread, for example) are artistically creative.<br><br>At the same time though, I can see that trawling through them all deciding which ones to delete and which to retain could be really time consuming!<br><br>Maybe jmh could provide them as some kind of zipped archive files instead (even if just for a limited time after the revamp of the site)? That would clear the way for new threads, but still mean the old content is available for offline browsing if we want/need to look something up.
