I have been playing "easy music" on the piano for many years.
The piano seen here is one I and my wife purchased 30 years ago, when we were first married. She stained the original wood, so today, it has a terrific lustre. We have never owned another piano, and my son learned to play on this one. I think it is a 1927 Baldwin out of Chicago, that gets tuned once a year. The notes have a deep resonant quality amplified by the wood housing. It is a wonderful sentimental piece of furniture that does a whole lot more than just stand in our living room...
It is a wonderful combination of music, memory and family that I will
always cherish..
