Just started out in the wonderful world of painting..the old fashioned way.
Using acrylics ...struggling to paint a half decent sky, water..? Don#t ask.
Retirement can be daunting...

Retirement can also be fun, like your new painting hobby. Awesome hobby, I like to draw with pencils when my grand kids are not bothering the crap out of me!..haha, not retired yet but can't wait! albino

go for it man,you wont regret it,it is a great hobby,I used to paint a bit many years ago and will definitely set up a little art studio when I retire in a year or two,my great aunt used to do profesional Disney style cartoon animation in Spain back in the 1940's and my daughter is studying fine arts at the U. of Granada right now... I posted a few of my daughter's and mine in this post ShootHerman put up Smile

Finished my first half decent painting...too embarrassed to show it, though it does make my granddaughter giggle..and that's good enough fer me.

nice, like the tonality,boat is cool,the sky needs the sun that is reflected on the lake surface anyhow good effort,keep it up Smile
