Just a word of warning to those planning to clean your own sensors. Be very careful!!! I'm not saying you can't do it, 'cause lots of dSLR owners do it quite frequently (such as our friend Reinman, here).

Recently, I have tried to clean my sensor with a swab and somehow scratched my CCD... I'm extremely annoyed by this, cause I don't know how I did it. Something foreign must've gotten on the sensor swab.

Now, even though I don't have any dust in my images, I now have a scratch that occurs across my image above f/16. It's not extremely visible, but I can especially see it in blue skys.

But anyway, be careful! I have no experience with the sensor brush... maybe that's a better option. Seems reinman has good experience with it.
