When you say NOW, it's allready the past. So that's why we always live in the future Confused

no Ronni, At the millisecond you say now it's the past. Herefor you can say that the present is very, very small. As small as a human mind can possible handle.

An interesting book on the subject...

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1585423068/qid=1112038699/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/002-4378097-6990419

I haven't gotten through it yet (got distracted by other books)... I found the writing style to get a little annoying after a while, but it does have a lot of interesting observations.

Man, where's Terminator when you need him? I bet he has a slightly different opinion, being as how he can time travel and stuff.

P.S. By the time I post this it WILL be the past (funny how you need to use the future tense in that sentence).

I can still remember when I added this comment to this thread.
It wasn't very long ago-it was almost now, but
different.

I think you can get an idea of what this is about by looking out your car window at 70 mph or faster. Look straight down at the road and see the pavement going by. What you see is gone before you even have time to think about what you saw. But that's only if you look straight down. As you move your eyes away from the car, this seem to slow down. I think it depends on your perspective or where you are looking. Whatever the smallest measurement of time is, that is how fast you move from future to past and there really is no present or "now". If there is a "now" then it is equal to 1 part of the smallest measurement of time. Does that make sense?
