Razz I'm calling you a good-for-nothing faker, Mr Aliased.

The shadows on the foreground plane don't match the light-source of everything else. Also - no blur of propeller-blades.

Fugue - You don't recognise the picture I posted? I agree that the image is an obvious chop. That's why I'm surprised it was used as the source pic for a contest.

Yes it was real, and yes show, I was having a bad-face day.

It was taken with a flash as I jumped from a rock (just out of frame). The flash gave this weird dark-blur-edge that looks so fake, but isn't.

Sorry aliased, I have a short memory for these things.

It's actually from Yahoo! news, but it's a freaking strange perspective... would be fun to play around as a pic of the day. Strangely, if it had been chopped, I wouldn't have given it a vote, I would've said that the perspective is wrong or something.

Wow, that video was stunning!
How could you not crap your pants everyday on that beach?
As for the picture.
It's crisp, I'll give it that much
It was shot with a capable camera.
The EXIF data might contain more clues, and I don't mean timewise. There could be discrepencies in focal length and so on...
but it all looks consistent to me.
Real?
