HAH!

Yup - these young whipperSnappers don't know a good thing when they step in it! Razz

Many of us used to have to BUST OUR SACKS OFF to get 12+ votes.

Ah - youth! It's wasted on the young! Rolling Eyes

I'm usually pretty good about voting. I think I've unloaded all my votes everyday for the last month (except for that ham sandwhich one...I had issues with it) so I feel I'm doing my part.
As for my technique. I usually spend half my votes in the first four hours, on account that I like to reward those who have the advantage and/or actually get up at 8 a.m. and put something together. The other half I save for the stragglers and/or entries that I was undecided about, and I usually don't spend those till day two or three.

BTVS just won with 81 votes, so I guess that puts this issue to rest Laughing In all seriousness, this type of stuff will always ebb and flow so no sense losing any sleep over it. One comment on the 'old-timers' talking about winning with very low vote totals (compared with todays average numbers). That just reflects how robust this site is now, more members posting more pictures and voting more times (plus, 25 votes compared to 10-15 like it used to be). In my relativly short time here, I can't remember the depth of great images and the wealth of ideas being better than it is right now. Some contest go 7-8 pages deep, and the first couple of pages of images can be quality stuff.

I'm an old timer too, I remember when I was young I had to walk 3 miles to school in the snow, and these youngsters are so spoiled these days ..... Wink
