A young co-worker of mine just got engaged (and boy is she gorgeous but that's beside the point).

Anyway he made the mistake of emailing a couple hi-res shots (1565x1037) of their engagement photos to the entire department (yours truly included). So of course I've already done a gender-bend on them with his face on her head and vice versa (to the great delight of the department). Twisted Evil

Now I want to create a picture of what their kids will look like (a boy and a girl). What I would like are tips on what features, from each of their faces, that I should put on a child's head/body to make the resulting kids' faces. Have any of you done this type of thing?

I'd post the original but I don't think he'd be too happy with me. About the only thing I can say is that I have a full face shot of the both of them so I have lots to work with.

I'm going to do the funny and put the adult faces on babies but how should I go about making realistic children from their own faces?

.

I've done this sort of thing before in a morph appliction and achieved pretty cool results.
It's not really a mix and match of facial features like you'd do in Photoshop. It's more
of a blend.

If you send me the 2 pics I could give it a try at work tomorrow.
As long as both shots are taken at the same angle it
should work out.

I don't have two pics but rather a pic of the two of them together. She's standing over his right shoulder with their heads tilted toward eachother. So the angles are not exactly the same.

The other problem is that I would want to get his permission before sending this photo to anyone. That kinda defeats the purpose as I wanted to create the kids pics as a surprise.

I'll talk with him and see if he's cool with me sending the photo though. Thanks for the offer bc!

yeah maybe it's for the best anyway

I'd probably just end up submitting the Engaged Girl's picture to EGILF.com.

In the meantime you can check out the "if they mated" section on Conan O'brien's homepage.
It may be what you're looking for...

Morbid I totally agree that it would help to have the pics. I would post them but I don't want to do so without the express permission and blessings of the owners/subjects of the pics. It's one thing for me to mess with he and his fiance' but it's quite another to have anonymous netizens doing it.

I'll talk to him today to see if he's cool with the idea and if so then I'll post a link to the picture.

Worst case is that I'll do a search for a similar shot and post that.

I asked my co-worker. He doesn't want his pics posted. He's willing to laugh it off but his fiance is another story. I did however Google for examples of what I have to work with:

http://www.thedickmans.net/images/Judith-Brian/J_B_Engaged.jpg

http://www.skinnee.net/images/engagement/engaged_email.jpg

http://www.monarch-digital.com/weddings/engagement.jpg

http://www.weymouthtech.com/libi/engagement%20photo.jpg

grahamandlea.com

That last one has TWENTY-THREE examples similar to the three I have to work with.
