Out of pure morbid curiousity I did a google search for the phrase "jesus in a tree". There were over 8 MILLION hits. Changed to an image search and there's over 3 thousand (albeit some pics aren't related).

I don't believe the the Son of God would stoop to a parlor trick such as making an image in inanimate objects (same goes for Mary and any other Gospel entity).
