Each month gets a folder. Each event gets a folder in that folder.

Every month I back all my shite up onto a remote 3.5" hard drive. Also backed up onto DVD.

That's awesome Blurker! That's what I've tried to do a couple times but wasn't disciplined enough. Now that I've rebuilt my PC again I'm again trying to determine the best way to store my pics and chops.

My memory works extremely visually so that's why I started storing the externals with the contest chop. I tend to remember what I used in each chop so it seems easier for me, right now, to go to that folder to grab the pic I need. I'm sure I'll change that.

I backed up my "PSC" folder before rebuilding my laptop so I still have to bring all those pics back into my library. But right now the pics I've got so far are organized a bit like this:
