Well, I new that there was nothing wrong with someone using that pic as an outside source, cause they did use the original source in the pic. So it couldn't be that you were saying they were wrong for using it. So then I new that you had to be trying to help...

maybe he thought it was too threatening.. so he wanted to point out how much work wasn't involved, so the entry wouldn't get alot of votes??

yes...threatening was exactly what I was worried about. What if that chop did better than mine? oh the shame!! I was not going to stand for that!!

on a rethink, should this really have been bought up on a closed prize comp....or even an active one?
there is definately work done, and we all use externals.

oh for christ's sake...I never once implied that no work was done. Even I could tell something had been done.
The fact that it is anonymous AND a prize contest makes it even more important that chops like this (where a bulk of the vote worthiness is a result of someone else's work) be discussed.
I didnt ask the author to remove it nor did I suggest it should be.
Chillax.
I kept it anonymous. It was the author that came forward on their own and chose their own actions.
