Ok, I've looked through the thread and tried to take everything in.
Here's what I've got. These will be uploaded next time we do an upload of new ones.

So those will go to the sock page next time we update it.
However, from here on out we will go by this process that Eve proposed and Proc approved. Eve or I will post an official sign up thread sometime soon, so be on the lookout.

There is a way we can do this that should make everyone happy...

1. Those members who wish to have a sock nominate themselves.
We make a list & go in order of sign-ups (Yes, I'm first Wink )
2. Each week we anonymously vote via poll whether we determine the member of the week deserves to have a sock. This should satisfy the Reindude. If the member is voted "Not eligible for a PSC sock" their name goes to the bottom of the list. That way the member has time to get more involved in PSC community.
3. After the voting process is completed and it's determined the member of the week IS eligible for a PSC sock, other members post their interpretation of that person's "sock." They must look like Cynn's original set of socks.
4. At the end of the week, mods determine which is the winner and places the new sock into Cynn's original set.

2 days for voting...that gives all our international ppl a chance to vote.
3 days for choppin socks.

What's kinda "cool" is one member might know the member of the week better than others. It's a great mixture of ideas...and Hey, how long does it take to design a sock?

I waited two years, more than enough time for someone else to take a lead on the subject, but even so, still jumped too soon. Very successful while it lasted though. Some nice socks there, real nice.

I don't know if it's funny or sad that some people felt this need to force rules on the sock puppets well more than a couple years ago, completely putting the brakes on it for well over a couple years and then someone comes along and finally gets it going again without all the rules and
.it works...people start getting involved in it, they seem to feel all happy jolly , people are bonding in a 50-50 poly-cotton kinda way and then
outta nowhere...here comes the rules.
The reason it's a problem for me is that not every thing that is a little special around here has to be snatched up and away from all inclusiveness into the arms of the exclusive. there are some very special people on this site that are not socially out going and will never, ever have the slightest chance of getting a sock through this process. Shoulda been left the way it was stated in the first post on this thread, and if that process did not ever at some point bring about the motivation of a mod to ad any new socks to the socks page, then that's just the way it shoulda been.
