Everyone has a bad day, I understand that. But, lately, I see some lazy work by senior, experienced members. Work so bad which makes me think that somebody else is posting on their behalf. And they get large number of votes. Then I see comments like wow, great, superb... What's up with that? Is this brown-nosing contest or skills contest? It makes me sick so much that I mostly post in anonymous contests, only place where I can get objective feedback on my work...sort of. I'm not bitching, just addressing an issue. I know that this will not change anything, I am just blowing out some steam. Anyway, it is kind of late here and I am going to bed

P.S.

Sorry...for my English.

yep, I think your Super Charged was undervoted. It happens and yet we keep on choppin'. Very Happy

I don't agree with you Yarilo
I like this site because here nobody see who you are just what you do
I saw your portfolio and you got votes for your good entries
And when you see comments like wow, great, superb... you see that entry again and maybe you can see what was the reason they said this
maybe you can't see at first look and you thought it's a "lazy work"
don't give up
you have some good ideas and your skill is improved
so: STFUAC Wink

I do not plan to give up on chopping. I am aware of my skills and current limitations, as well as skills of other people. I am already addicted to chopping and there is no turning back. More I learn, more I am aware of techniques used and mistakes made. This is not the only place where I compete. You questioned my judgment and made it like I am talking out of my ass. Believe what you want, that is your right. I am sticking to what I said, which is my right. And yes, I almost forgot: STUFAC back at you Wink

Just remember that contests will come and go but your portfolio is here to stay.

one more thing:
I remembered when I was new in here I didn't understand this entry: http://photoshopcontest.com/view-entry/72601/votes.html
and if I didn't read the comments then I couldn't see the source and I didn't find what an awesome entry is this

Yarilo said "I see some lazy work by senior, experienced members"
and I said for this "And when you see comments like wow, great, superb... you see that entry again and maybe you can see what was the reason they said this maybe you can't see at first look and you thought it's a "lazy work" "
it was an example for this situation

I think it's some sort of intelligent adult toy that the Japanese are working on.
