Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Having worked on my entry for over 3 hours now I tried to reopen it just now and photoshop refuses to open Crying or Very sad just crashes everytime. I've scanned for viruses and I had a load (lol) but I got rid of them and it still won't open. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone know what I could do to make it open?

Ill let you know if it fixes itself
Try opening the file on a different (clean) machine - this will tell you if the file is corrupted or your Photoshop and/or Windows is not working properly.

try removing the following file (to desktop or wherever)
"Adobe Photoshop CS2 Prefs.psp" and then try booting PS up.

it resides by default in....
C:\Documents and Settings\*Granulated*\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\9.0\Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings...

replace *granulated* with your own user name of course.

How big is the PSD file? Can you post it on box.net for someone else here to test it (unless it is a BIG secret of course).

How about other files (PSD's, JPG's etc.) - do they open OK in Photoshop?

That's poop Arm! You on a pc? If so is it possible to do a system (XP) restore to before the crash. I don't know if that will do anything but it's the only thing that comes to mind.

I uploaded my entry this morning. I'm not even going to look at the psd anymore since I can't edit it.
