How did you get your PSC nickname?
Function: adjective; Etymology: French or Greek; French archaïque, from Greek archaïkos, from archaios; of, relating to, or characteristic of an earlier or more primitive time.

What is your real name and age?
Fabio... as for the age, do the math...

Where are you from and what do you like best about being there?
South of Brazil... best place in the world for a normal person!!!! Too bad i´m not normal...

What do you do to keep the bills paid?
I work for the feds...

What do you do in your spare time?
WHAT spare time?????

How did you find PSC, and what do you like most about the site?
Some friends I met in the internet linked me... and I´ve been here since then... once nobody kicked me outta here yet... ;)

If you could change one thing at PSC, what would it be and why?
Bring fairness back.

Is there any other information about you would like to pass on?
Yeah. "Winners don´t use drugs." I read this in the arcades a lot of times... it must be true...

How many hours per week do you spend on PSC?
I used to spend more time in the old days...

What other sites, not Photoshop related, do you like to surf?
We surf the web? Thought webs were supposed to be crawled...

What tools do you use to chop?
Athlon 64 X2 3800+ PS CS3 Win Vista 64 Ultimate... at least before it got burnt...

What gets your creative juices flowing, how do you create a masterpiece?
my misery

What inspires you?
My fucking disorders.

Do you have a system? Does a chop have to be done a certain way following steps or are you a messy chopper and just go with the flow?
100% messy... I don´t even keep the PSD after I´m done, most of the times...

What style of chop do you prefer to create?
Realistic.

Filters, brushes and techniques: Which do you use, and not use, and why?
I use filters to help me puke when I´m sick....

When do you know that you have it just right, or is it constant changes up until, or after, you post?
I dunno... ya just... know... ya know?

What is the limit to what you will chop?
there are no limits to human mind.

Are there any tips and/or tricks that you would like to pass along to less experienced choppers?
Yeah. Here´s a tip... get experienced.

What is your favorite type of source image, and why?
I once told a pal a good chopper can chop any source. I was wrong. But a good chopper can chop ALMOST any source. I don´t have any favorites.

There is often talk about how the source is used and to what extent it should be. What are your views on all sources, outside source use and animations?
as long as it's well done, it's ok for me. But people seem to care too much about cute animals or body fluids in chops and forget to check the PS work on the chops, that is what should matter. That's sad.

What is your preferred resource for outside source images?
google images

In your opinion what makes a good chop?
Perfection.

Do you have a system to get things started?
mood.

Have you ever completed a chop and then decided not to enter it in the contest? If so, why?
No. But I had loads of half way completed chops that I liked and didn't post for not being in the mood of finishing them.

After you finish your chop do you just post it or seek opinions of family and/or fellow choppers first?
Second opinions are always a way to see things you don't see after staring at it for several hours.

If some one finds a fault in your work do you change it or stay with what you posted?
If I agree with the flaw, I fix it. Pride is not the way to improvement.

What qualities do you look for when deciding to vote on a chop?
If a chop is pleasant to my eyes, it gets my vote. But most chops are just crap full of flaws that choppera don't care to fix.

Some member prefer not to vote for filtered chops or animations. Is there any particular style/type of chop you won't vote for?
Yes. Chops from known cheaters.

Time is always a factor, how much time do you spend on a chop and how much time is too much?
3-5 hours. Anything above that is too much.

We all love to get votes. Now are you a constant vote checker or do you just let it go and check once a day? (be honest)
I check once a week.

What chop of yours did not do as well as you expected?
Several.

What do you consider your best chop so far?

Who is your favorite chopper out there and why?
Claf. Why? Just look at his damn portfolio.

What do you NOT like to see in a chop, and why not?
