ummmm...you suggested a mac fix....and he's using a windows machine....he couldn't have done what you suggested about the fonts in the library.

well i dunno why getting rid of the fonts worked then ...

sooo, photoshop CS2 suddenly decided not to work anymore... i open it and the splash screen shows for a split second... then nothing... i've tried uninstalling, and re-installing... anyone got an idea ...

Hahaha i just booted my new computer, it is a P4 3ghz, 2Gb ram, 256Mb Radeon X 700 pro, w/ wireless Keyboard and mouse and a sweet ass 20" flat screen Sony monitor!!
