explanation... from a certain moment of the story on, the story goes backward... like those stories that begin with the end and then get to to beginning throughout the story. Jeff was arrested for suspicion of killing gump. When he opens the door and go home, there lies the beginning, telling how he was arrested... it´s like this: he has a fight with karen, go for a run, meet gump, gump dies, they blame and arrest jeff, jeff goes to prision... you just have to follow the logical order of facts...

There was a recent episode of C.S.I that did that. Drove me nuts, I had to turn the channel.

Umm... not sure why I mention that, but there it is.. Rolling Eyes

Rather than only see the previous entry, the full story should be visible to all writers so everyone can see the backstory. Blind writing like this can be quirky but the huge holes in the flow are a bit jarring.

Chapter 2 should be put at the top of a new thread and edited by Tofu as eaach submission comes in. We can then see the story build and anticipate a plot twist or solution.

That´s highly illogical Trann. If things go the way you´re saying, there would be no need for Tofu to updtate it then... we would just post each part as a reply to the thread.

I've never seen a thread go for long without a running commentary or a timely highjacking.

Top posting the story keeps it in one place without interruption, regardless of what is posted beneath.

Letting everybody see what is written before them kind of defeats the purpose though. This isn't supposed to be a well-written, logical novel. If done correctly, the story produced can be highly entertaining. Something tells me your one of those people who don't like Monty Python because "they don't get it." Laughing Wink
Anyways, this story was mildly entertaining, I'm sure we can do better next chapter. Be creative, folks! Very Happy

So wrong, so wrong, my friend! I have quoted reams of Python and performed various sketches on stage as well. I fart in your general direction! Wink

I do see where you're coming from, however.

And now, the penguin on top of your television set will explode.
