My daughter's Church Young Women's youth group has an annual girl's camp where girls from all over the state gather together for a week. This year the girls in my daughter's group want to make t-shirts to wear for their camp fundraiser and for the first day of camp (one shirt for both occasions).

My daughter's group is a small group of around 8 girls ranging from 12-18. They're needing to do the fundraiser just to pay for camp fees and transportation costs so they obviously don't have money to pay a designer to do the shirts. I'm trying to help create the vector "logo" that they'll put on the shirts. But, as many of you know, I'm not a graphic artist or designer.

Would any of you graphic designer/artist types be willing to help me hone the image? I'll do as much of the work as I can but I'll definitely need direction and suggestions. Confused

The "theme" that they've chosen is a western theme but it needs to convey

1. Teen girls
2. Modesty (i.e. no cleavage/sexiness)

We're thinking something that we can either do as a small logo over the heart or big on the back.

Interesting idea Scion (the ichthus idea). Don't know if I'll go that way or not at the moment. I like the sweet idea FC cam up with and I really like the addition by buglover. Any chance you've got that in a higher-res (or .eps/.ai format)? Wink

I've had a couple ideas. A stylized cowgirl hat surrounded by a lasso. A cowgirl illustration would be cool too.

I've taken the day off of work so that I can catch up on some projects around the house and to work on this logo. Hopefully I'll be able to post something later today to get some direction.

Went with buglover's modification to FC's suggestion and then did the ponytails a bit different.

Illustrator file (exported as such from Freehand so no compatibility guarantees)
