Hi guys,

I haven't been choppin' contests lately due to the start of the spring landscaping season (hubby and I run our own business)

Anyway, I am exhausted, but managed to virtually paint another picture today, this is my second daughter. Done using photoshop and my mouse...

I appreciate the feedback I got on the last one. This one hasn't been all that textured yet. I am thinking of adding to it but didn't want to get too far if there are things that should be corrected at this stage.

I appreciate input! Thanks so much!

Happy chopping! I'll be back at it in my "spare time" if I ever get any! LOL!

WOW is all I can say. I'm sure that wee picture does the painting no justice.

You ask for feedback sooooo....

The hair where her right ear would be is a little flat. This makes the part of the hair in back look like it's coming forward over the foreground section of hair. I hope that makes sense. You may want to add a highlite to show the curve of the foreground hair?

Also may want to put some shadow underneath the bangs to give some depth to the hair on her forehead?

Lastly I'd personally "pinken-up" her lips and give a warming layer to the overall photo. But that could be just me. Wink

BTW you've got a very cute kiddo.

TOFU:

I did all the things you suggested, and added some texturizing layers too. Thanks for the ideas/direction. Smile

Awsum work D.

Don't know what you did exactly with the update, but it sure made the image come to life.

Thanks, Anna! I saturated her lips a bit, bumped the hue a little bit to make it a warmer tone of pink/red.

I burned in a touch of shadow underneath her bangs area.

I added color to the drab gray area in her hair near her ear on the left side of the image (her right side)

Then, I added some layers and added dimension to the background and her hair with some strokes that were beveled and embossed ever so slightly to make it look a bit more textured.
