I may be the first with this issue but somehow I doubt it... around the time I started chopping I developed a carpal tunnel type nerve pain in my shoulder. (mouse side)

When I have my arm leaning on the desk and use the mouse to do some of the fine detail of the chop, it exacerbates the issue?!?

Its part muscular and part nerve... I am quite fit and active so unless exercise is promoting the problem, that is not a factor.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
What are the solutions... other than to stop using the computer!

A related question of interest, does anyone use something better than a mouse?

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

kids these days look at marco and think it´s healthy to live in front of the computer chopping 24 hours a day...

go outside... take a walk in the park... have sexual intercourse... get wasted in a bar... in other words... live!

it looks to me that you´re in serious need of some sunlight in yer life... cause nobody developes carpal tunnel for spending a few hours only in the computer... you may have to realize you are addicted to it, and addictions ARE NOT GOOD, no matter what the addiction is...

and buy a friggin wacom tablet...

Laughing blah de blah etc @ Farc

Sounds like a trapped nerve BShark, maybe get it checked over by your doc.

I get a similar pain in my left shoulder, but that was caused by dislocating my shoulder quite badly while playing football. Like a ghost pain that keeps coming back every 4 or 5 months or so for a few days.

Try using some deep heat cream on it several times a day, it may clear it up if it is muscular.

and never forget that the wisest decision when having a physical injury is to ask for counseling in a Photoshop website...

Brazilians... one loss and they start attacking innocent sharks.

I will turn the other cheek... or shoulder as it were in this case. Oh and BTW I have done each of your "live list" in the last... fortnight! So LIVE with that! And dont be sad when I chop you like Marco!

JK... Thanks for the advice both... the Tablet looks cool... as soon as I can afford it... which could be a little while. I will check it out.

I have had several motorbike accidents, not ALL my fault... so could be a aggravation of an old injury.

Go NED!
