What do you do when you see a photo perhaps a contest on here and your mind is a blank? My background is in photo restoration so when I see a ball I see a ball, though at times I have gotten better to be able to envision other things instead of a ball. Where do you find your best inspiration from and how long did it take to get really into photo manipulation before things really started to come together?

I've learned to just go along with the voices in my head. You'll either end up in jail or with a successful entry. Either way,...instant recognition! Banana

"Try rolling a joint, and then let your mind just roll around the image for a while. write down the ideas and come back after you lost the buzz and work on 'em.

(Don't try Chopping when you're stoned, it really doesn't work! Shocked )

Or the safer way is to let your 5 yr old son/daughter/cousin/nephew or best friend's kid to tell you what they see instead of a 'Ball' Their imagination hasn't been stifled like us adults! Laughing

Have fun, and smoke 'em if you've got 'em!

"Hey DW, Shit man, you can make a start on your avatar, that really could do with a little imagination for starters.

(At the moment it looks like a High School Yearbook mugshot that's been retouched too many times!) Wink Laughing

Just pullin' your chain buddy, no offense intended! Smile
