I'm not a real fan of surrealism, but I admire how fantasies are created and the careful execution into the finest details.
Some of the images remind me of an artist I admire for his dedication and consitency: Mattijn Franssen, he produces surrealistic images for many years in a very personal style. I'm sure many of you know his work: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattijn/

So I spent about 2 hours yesterday studying this artists work... absolutely stunning! I love the fact that he includes his fat cat in all of his work!!! thanks for sharing! Very Happy

wow, if you are that interested in his work, you should check out his YouTube channel as well: http://www.youtube.com/user/mattijnf

My personal opinion is that he is not fully aware of his talents and, for that matter, also not of his shortcomings; we discussed this online. I think his use of typography sucks (especially in his book) and at the same his visual and "creational" skills and talent deserve a much larger audience. Honestly, I can see him in a future role as an assistant creative director in movies like Avatar.
All that said, I cannot leave out that he is a very nice guy, down to earth and open to any form of suggestions. In other words, still an artist who is in a genuine search for .... ... eh, what artists are looking for ...
