1) any programmer would tell you in about 2 seconds that the code for the 2 sites are in different programming languages-so there was obviously no "theft"of code-sorry

2)the "other" site is anonymous-hello? has anyone checked here-it's not -hence a totally different concept and voting/posting experience

3)how many ways are there to format a site?-should the pics be upside down?should the header be at the bottom of the page?-unfortunately there's only so many ways to design a site-the fact that there are so many porno and sales outlet sites that are laid out identically isn't bothering anyone or so it seems-and as more contest sites come online i have a feeling we'll see more that look similar-heck how many are there to compare to?

4)noone is stealing members from here-the other site simply offers another outlet to artists and anyone who's serious about their work should appreciate that fact-it's free just like here so jmh isn't "losing" anything

5)noone is putting a gun to anyone's head to join

imho--the more people that chop and post the better and more fun for all of us-it's an awfully big internet

1. The setup of the opener page is identical to the site here, except for the colors. The text has been duplicated almost exactly, to the point of having a 2000 copyright.

2. Anonymous posting is actually the only quantifiable difference, and it's one that holly/lostcode/nikon spent no small amount of time whining about, during his tenure here. Of course it'd be anonymous, it's a site for people who think PSC is a clique full of people who vote only for their friends.

3. For reference on ways to format a Photoshop contest site, please refer to Worth 1000 and Fark. Please note that they bear no resemblance to this site at all, unlike your shabby knockoff.

4. Recruiting members of this site through private messages on THIS FORUM is unbelievably crass. You stole the idea, you stole the format, you stole the HTML, now you want to steal the members. Happily I trust most of the members to see your plagiarism for what it is.

if u read my post on what ppl would be complaining about it apears this is the next thing, to be honest you can complain as much as you like about whats stolen or not stolen i dont care, i have more problems to think about, i go to the other site and i LIKE it. I also like this site and have tried other sites but this layout is the best for me, so when i went to this other site and it is pretty much the same kind of thing, I like how there both layed out and it gives me another picture to chop and learn from, But if ur going to get childish over the whole thing your just missing the point of having two places to go, both are friendly in fact now ive found two places to chop i need look no further for my new addiction hehe. I dont think anyone is losing out at this site i still see all the same ppl here, it hasnt stole anybody i can see ov just more choice for the ppl there to change a different pic. thats my two penneth
