I definitely think we should have pics in chat still, it's pretty freaking boring without it. Plus, this is an art site, no? Chat was great for sharing simple stuff without having to create a thread for it, and to share stuff live with the people who you want to see it.
While we're talking about chat, can we please get rid of the text limiter? It's rediculous. If we must have it, can it at least be set so that it stops typing in the chat box so we know when we've written all we can? It's frustrating and annoying when I spend a few minutes typing out something detailed, only to see half of it gone when I hit 'post'.

I agree. Pictures in chat was what made the chatroom on this site unique versus other sites.

Well,
If an auto resize can be added to chat to kill certain members from spamming it with 2000x2000 pixel images...
and keep them all at maybe say...200x200 max.
And THEN if several 'chat specific mods' could be added
to the site to delete the trash images that make this site look like
a dump quite often.
Then I'd be all for pictures in chat...I am for it, but
it seriously needs to be modded.

In all honesty...I can rember quite a few Friday evenings someone spammed chat, and it stayed dead all weekend.
