the button should be more prominent.
we were talking about this in chat a few months ago, there should be 21 options to vote for.
top 7 are auto sellected,
middle 7 are resubmitted,
bottom 7 are deleted, never to be seen again, but,,,,,,,,, we need a lot more voters for this to work, also at least 14 new pix submitted by you lot each week,
any coders out there who could make this work?

I think it is a simple "out of sight, out of mind" thing. Honestly, I forget about voting... will try to remember from now on

I'm more concerned about the pics being selected. How many times do we have to see a "view from up high" pic? Or a sign? Or a bird?
AND I'm all for getting rid of that friggin Opa Pisteria picture. I'm so sick of that thing already!

I am one of the three, who voted for the first pic - for the 10th time, I guess!

the problem is in the navigation, maybe some drop down lists on the menu would help.

I think this is part of the problem, the "source images" btn is not that easy to find, unless you are specifically looking for it and really want to find it.

See, there's 2 problems here:
1. The source shuffling needs to be better shuffled.
2. MORE SOURCE IMAGES need to be submitted.
Screw all this voting talk. If ya don't feel like taking an extra 3 seconds to vote on a source, then don't. Take the luck of the draw.
However...
When's the last time anyone here submitted an image or images FOR the source pool?
Last time I did - I submitted around 15.
And you???
Me personally, I'm not gonna vote for source images until the code bugs are worked out and we hget a batter selection to choose from. And if no one likes that, well tough cookies.

ditto.
I've submitted 19 over last summer/fall only to have 7 come up so far. Most of mine, I haven't even even seen come up once yet.

Triple ditto. 14 of 65 submitted images accepted. Of all those pics I took, at most, maybe 5% of them so I can't be blamed for bad shots. Plus I really didn't think they were that bad or I would not have submitted them.
I also have come to understand how the "game" of submitting images is played. I submitted that many by "shotgun" approach. I realized that only a few might make it through (even though I'd want to chop every one of them).

I submitted a pic a few weeks ago... haven't seen it as an option for voting. But most pics I have are pretty run-of-the-mill. The one I submitted was kind of special, so that's why I submitted it. It's not like everything else. I don't know... I guess I just thought we have enough pics of trees and birds and livingrooms and stuff.
