My first advice: stop putting yourself down. It won't win you any contests and won't win you many friends. We all suck at something in life, so it doesn't make us special.

And I gotta tell you that you ARE doing your best RIGHT NOW in your life. You'll get better if you WANT to get better and you are willing to put in some PRACTICE time. This is a GREAT site to practice your chops and also learn from the people around here that know more about this stuff than you do. If you keep at it, in a while, you'll be the one helping someone ELSE get better at it. And hopefully you'll remind them NOT to poop on themselves just because they are starting out.
