should the PSC rules be relaxed slightly in relation to artistic nudes etc

Yes they should, but obviously still monitored closely.

No, leave it how it is. Our children must wait until they are 21 to see any.

Dirty pictures done well is art. Dirty pictures done too realistically graphically and sexually is X PORN. I was thinking of the art done by the masters that featured nudity but was beautiful Like Klimt for example. Ah well I just wanted the boundary stretched a bit not fully on over there. Laughing

PSC is not a family friendly site. It is a safe for work site.

The rules are simple and effective for everyone.

No Nipples
No Vajayjay
No Hard Language

99% of the people around here don't have an issue.

Why would you need to stretch that? For 'arts' sake? Bullsh*t! You guys just want to make dirty pictures!

hey, maybe some people will, but hey maybe some wont, now I made this thread, and I can say I have an opinion on this, as I have stated top of page 1, but nude, arty whatever you wish to call them images are not usually what I want to create. So from that stand point, not changing this is no big issue for me. But it's not just about me.

I strongly believe and have seen in the past, very beautifully made images, that used a naked form in them, and they get pulled. I have a little more belief in the member here obviously than some, that it wont suddenly become a dirty picture site.

BUT Marcooooooooo.....Claf has made a big issue of this before, several times, and more than once we ended up with a month of poop post every day. You wanna convince Proc to change where the line is drawn,
go ahead, and let's see who is right about what becomes of this site.
I would think the reunion contest having no entries by anyone but active users would have said something fairly clearly.

Depending on who you talk to, Pornography is art! Who will be the judge of art vs. filth? Who is to say which nipples are acceptable?

The rules are there before you even start to chop a picture. Chop accordingly! I made a booby picture for the first time ever in my long and lackluster stint at PSC. Those tits never even had nipples! I knew I couldn't use them so I didn't even bother.

I find this amusing!

A few years back I was at a really nice high end Spa in Frankfurt (sp?) Germany (the spa was made to look like a South American Jungle). I went with 2 German women and when it came time to pay I surprised them and took care of the bill for all of us.

But there was a problem, the girl behind the desk started speaking in German to them and then my friends told me that she was concerned if I realized that it was a nude spa. I did, my friend told the girl working there, but the girl asked again. Again I shook my head that I understand, paid, and went in and had a great nude spa day!

So what is my point of this story? I'm from the SW FL, USA - in Germany it is normal to be nude in the spa. The reason the girl asked twice is that often Americans would pay, go in, see that it was all nude, and then demand a refund and leave.

So, is there anything wrong with the nudity at the spa? I don't think so. Is there anything wrong with the human body that we should be ashamed of it? No. It comes down to a perspective from societies and/or religions that make nudity bad.

Now, should I as an American cultured prude (I'm not) be able to walk into the spa in Germany and say: 'No more nudity!!!!' No way, if I don't like it I shouldn't go in.

But lets take the opposite - let's say I went into the spa with 2 women (which I did) and then started having sex with them in front of everyone (which I didn't) -- would that be acceptable just because it's a nude spa? Of course not!!!! I'd be arrested and dragged out.

So my point is this - if we allow nude entries (OMG!!!!) we handle it the same way. Nude is fine and can be done really well -- but if some one is vulgar and demeaning in a nude entry kick em out. If there is a really bad raunchy entry there will be comment after comment (a lot of them very nasty) calling the person who posted the entry an asshole. And if that person were to continue posting more crap (if they weren't kicked out) then they'd never get another vote or view from anyone on anything they entered.

Personally I believe that some of the best pieces of art are of woman nude, and many other art masterpieces use a woman's form and lines (not the nudity) in their creation.

Personally I think that anyone who is offended by the human body, especially a woman's, is a brainwashed ass! What's the next step?????? blind folding babies when they breast feed?

And how many source photos lend themselves to nudes? Not many. How many nudes will we see? I don't think we will see many. There have been a few really well done entries where a woman was almost nude, and with some of them they would have been better done nude. What did I read earlier??? someone couldn't show nipples for fear of getting their entry deleted? Crazy.

Where do we go next -- start destroying old nude masterpieces for fear that they are offending someone?

Rock on, JW!! Good Show...

I agree, boobs are fun and all. I however have the problem that I like to surf PSC while at work. If it were for nudes, I would have a problem doing that. I think that you should post your nude artwork on deviant art, or something like that and maybe link to it with a similar SFW entry as long as you mark it well. (NSWF:linktoimage.com)

Well here is another thought... would your employer be happy you were surfing any site that wasn't work related . He'd want you to be working working working beavering away because that's what he's paying you to do right? Well should the site be censored cause you or anyone is surfing a site while at work. Think about that.
Situation 1 = doing your job not surfing at work on non work sites
Situation 2 = looking at nudes done artfully on a site on your own time

See my point. You are taking a moral high ground on what is work acceptable but slacking off at work which is morally irresponsible.

I am messing with your mind but I don't like censors Very Happy
