Yess, Lemon Jelly Very Happy Very Happy.....talented guys....they are really good at picking and manipulating samples in effective ways for their music. Fred Deakin( 1/2 of the duo) is also a good graphic designer.
If you like them , you are sure to like Bent : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10RZsjvX-f0

Yup! Akufen is from Montréal. Nice music, creative, nice CD. He recently made a CD... he called it "musique pour 3 femmes enceintes". It means "music for 3 pregnant women".

I think Sakura is the best of Yokota. But he made a lot of other good stuff.

Thanks Claf!....I was wondering what Marc Leclair was up to. I actually just went out and bought that album the other day. It's really good....very minimal. Very Happy

...and yes I do tend to gravitate back to Sakura. It just has such a great flow to it.

Chicken & Luxwiz talked before about spanish guitarists. I'm not crazy about flamenco & too traditional stuff. I'm searching for something closer to an artist like Anouar Brahem. O.K. he's playing "oud" not guitar, but I like that stuff...
